The article just goes to show the supreme arrogance of lawyers and why this Carrie chick gets two thumbs up in my book.
It also provided a good reason why lawyers are so universally despised.

I'm looking forward to Lew's comments on her.
Cincinnati has its own Erin Brockovich.
I am glad this Carrie chick lives in our area. We could certainly use more like her. Anyone can read the law and interpret it...that is all that lawyers do anyway...just they interpret it according to what they want to exploit. Lay people can read it and interpret it just the same.
I think lawyers write the way that they do so most of us don't want to read their crap and therefore give themselves job security. I know I can read and understand the law, but sometimes I don't want to read it because it is so wordy and complex. Why not just say, don't do this or you have to do that? Because some lawyer will come along and sue your a$$ because their client happens to be a moron and they want (need) to make some money!
Go Carrie Go!

Looks like Carrie could use that check you want to send her! As we all know, money makes the world go round!
Reason does this mean that Michael Jackson is no longer your hero? or do you have room for more than one in your heart?

It is so gratifying to see someone successfully picking off some of the local republican "leadership," who have been unchallenged for so long they have become responsive only to their own needs and not their constituents.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Unchallenged. Funny I don't remember any election in Cincinnati wherein a Republican incumbent didn't have an opponent. Just because the challengers lose doesn't mean they didn't try to gain the seat. When I was bringing PILS to justice it was the Republicans who were most responsive. Democratic office holders didn't do a damn thing. So apparently the general population isn't ready for revolutionary/socialistic/gay change like you hope for in Cincinnati. Move to San Francisco..It is so gratifying to see someone successfully picking off some of the local republican "leadership," who have been unchallenged for so long they have become responsive only to their own needs and not their constituents.

From the 8/20 Cincinnati Post:
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">And again:But once again, their choices will be limited in judicial races, where nine Republicans are running unopposed.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">LINKRunning unopposed in addition to the nine judicial candidates -- six for the Common Pleas bench, two for Domestic Relations Court and one for Juvenile Court -- are two other Republicans, Sheriff Simon Leis and Prosecutor Mike Allen.
Ok, I just came up with eleven spots where Republicans are running unopposed.
Let's make a deal. You stick to reading the red dotted line, I'll stick to the truth.
